Faq section

1. What do I need to do to get a custom order?

Custom orders are available through filling out and submitting the forms offered in the services section of the website. We’ll then reach out to you via email and talk through price quotes and shipping information. Then, after working through all that, we’ll be sending (if requested) progress updates.

2. What materials or steels do you use when making custom knives?

Our custom blades can be crafted from high-quality carbon steels, stainless steels, or specialty alloys depending on your preference. We’ll help you choose based on your intended use—whether that’s the kitchen or the great outdoors.

3. How long does sharpening take, and do you offer mobile or same-day service?

Standard sharpening typically takes 2-3 hours, depending on the number and condition of your blades. Mobile and same-day service is not something we can capably offer at this time, so we will not pretend we can.

4. Do you repair damaged knives, like chipped edges or broken tips?

Absolutely. In addition to sharpening, we repair chips, reshape edges, fix broken tips, and restore blades that have been worn down or misaligned. We aim to return your knife in its best possible working condition.

5. Do you offer maintenance tips to help my knives stay sharp longer?

Definitely. We educate customers on proper honing techniques, safe storage, cutting-surface recommendations, and cleaning practices. With the right care, your knife will stay sharper between professional sharpenings.
